James E. Moorman, III
Jim Moorman has over 33 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation. Jim’s areas of practice include family law, child custody, child support, domestic abuse, Protective Orders, criminal defense, personal injury, construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, collection actions, homeowners’ rights, and business matters. Jim previously served as the Justice of the Peace in the City of Covington. Beginning in 2010, the Louisiana Supreme Court has appointed Jim to serve as an Assistance Bar Examiner for the Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence Section; and most recently, the Business Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Exam.
